Troopers for Charity is a volunteer-driven organization based in Denmark, uniting Star Wars enthusiasts who share a common goal: to spread joy and make a difference. Dressed as characters from the beloved Star Wars universe, the group participates in events, parades, and charity initiatives, bringing smiles to fans of all ages. Their mission is to use their passion for Star Wars as a force for good, raising funds and awareness for various charitable causes. By combining creativity, community spirit, and a love for storytelling, Troopers for Charity has become a beacon of hope and positivity, proving that even in a galaxy far, far away, kindness and generosity can thrive.

501st legion Danish garrison

Step into a galaxy far, far away with the Danish Garrison of the 501st Legion, Nordic Base of the Rebel Legion, and the Mando Mercs Clan Denmark!

We are the official Danish units of three worldwide Star Wars costuming organizations with over 10,000 members across the globe. Recognized by Lucasfilm, our members create and wear highly accurate costumes that bring the saga’s most iconic heroes, villains, and Mandalorian warriors to life.

But our mission goes far beyond fandom. As part of a global network, we work together to support charities, bring joy to children in hospitals, and make a positive impact in our communities. Collectively, our organizations have helped raise millions for good causes while sharing the magic of Star Wars with fans of all ages.

With structured groups in nearly every country, we pride ourselves on organization, quality, and unity. In Denmark, the Garrison, Base, and Clan often troop side by side—Imperials, Rebels, and Mandalorians—proving that even in a galaxy divided, we stand together to create unforgettable experiences.

This year at Comic Con Copenhagen, you’ll find us ready to meet fans, pose for photos, and answer questions about our costumes, our work, and how you too can become part of this worldwide community.
