Frequently asked questions
Want to be part of Artist Alley? Here is how!
The Artist Alley ticket gives access for one person for all days and includes a guaranteed place with a table and chair in the Artist Alley area at Comic Con Denmark.
The ticket is only valid for one person, so you may not have several sellers at the same table. If you want an assistant at your table, they must have their own entry ticket to the event.
Please note that we only sell a limited number of Artist Alley tickets, and places are allocated on a first‑come, first‑served basis.
Who can get a place in Artist Alley?
If you are an artist and create material that fits the Comic Con universe – for example comics, illustrations, prints, paintings, jewelry, crafts, books or other creative works – you are welcome to book a table in our Artist Alley.
We have a wide variety of artists in Artist Alley, from comic creators and illustrators to jewelry designers, authors, and many more.
The products you exhibit and sell in Artist Alley must of course be legal and comply with Danish law. If you want to sell anything with adult content, weapons or food, special rules apply – in that case we recommend contacting us beforehand so we can help clarify what is allowed.
What is included in the Artist Alley ticket?
The Artist Alley ticket gives you:
- Access for one person during the entire event
- A table and a chair in the Artist Alley area
- A presentation on the Comic Con Denmark website as part of Artist Alley
The ticket is valid for one artist, so there must not be more than one seller at the table. If you want an assistant to help at your table, they must have their own entry ticket to Comic Con Denmark.
May I bring my own table?
No, you do not need to bring your own table. You will be provided with a table and a chair at your place in Artist Alley.
Can I share a table with a friend?
No, the Artist Alley ticket is only valid for one person as a seller. It is therefore not allowed to share the table with another artist or seller.
If your friend only helps you at your stand – for example when you need a break or some company – that is completely fine, if they also have their own valid entry ticket to the event.
How are the tables allocated?
Your table will be assigned by the Comic Con Denmark team, and you will be informed of the location in an information email before the event.
If you want to swap places, you must arrange this directly with one of the other artists – either beforehand or on site once you have arrived.
Is there an age limit for exhibiting Artist Alley?
Are AI‑generated art and 3D prints allowed in Artist Alley?
AI‑generated works
AI‑generated works are not allowed in Artist Alley. This means that:
- AI‑generated images, illustrations and graphics may not be sold or marketed as your own works
- AI‑generated text, patterns or designs may not make up the whole or the primary part of the products you sell
Artist Alley is an area for original, human‑created artistic work. We only allow works where you are personally responsible for the creative process.
3D prints
3D‑printed works are allowed, but there are special rules:
Allowed:
- You may sell 3D‑printed figures and objects if you have designed or modelled them yourself
- It is also fine to start from a base or one of your own previous designs, as long as the final product is a new and unique creation you have developed
Not allowed:
- It is not allowed to sell 3D prints based on finished models that you did not create yourself (for example stock models from online libraries)
- It is not allowed to make only minimal changes to someone else’s models and sell them as your own works
In short: everything you sell in Artist Alley – both 2D, 3D and physical art – must be original work you have created yourself and for which you hold the rights to the design.
