Copenhagen Comics brings comics up close and personal in Comic Village, an area dedicated to comics, creators, and the comics community. Here, fans, artists, and publishers come together around what we love: comics.
Copenhagen Comics is Denmark’s largest comic book festival, run by volunteers and created out of a love for the medium. We use our experience in bringing together creators, fans, and the industry to create a program where you don’t just experience comics — get up close to how they’re made and the people who create them.

Cobolt
At COBOLT, we love comics. We delve into the classic stories that have shaped generations of readers, while also making room for new talents who are helping to expand the potential of the medium.
Gunnar Wille

Afart
Afart has now been in business for 16 years, publishing titles for both children and adults-several of which have won awards. In addition to its own releases, Afart is involved in projects with Comic Factory, High Heels Society, TegneserieKompagniet, and Story House Egmont.
Fantask
Fantask is the world’s oldest science fiction and comic book store; we have been at the same location in Copenhagen’s Latin Quarter since October 1971. From the very beginning, the shop has stocked comics as well as science fiction and fantasy books; it didn’t take long for role-playing and board games to find their way onto the shelves, and nowadays you can also find figurines, manga, and merchandise.

Stop by author Christina Ramskov’s stand, where she sells her fantasy books and handmade creative items inspired by her fantasy universe-and shares her great personal mission: to show that even when facing challenges, you must fight for your dreams.

Does it cost anything to meet the comic artists?
No, it does not cost anything to meet our comic artists in the Comics & Books zone. You can walk past their tables, say hello and talk about their comics and illustrations without any extra cost.
Can you buy illustrations or art from the comic artists?
Yes, you can often buy original art, prints, comics and other illustrations directly from the comic artists. The selection and prices vary from artist to artist, so feel free to ask them what they have for sale.
Can you take a photo with the guests or get an autograph?
Usually it is absolutely fine to take a photo with the comic artists or get an autograph – just remember to always ask first and respect it if they are busy or have a queue. Some guests may have special rules for photos and autographs, which will be clearly displayed at their table.
