Zoe Thorogood is the award-winning comic creator behind It’s Lonely at the Centre of the Earth and The Impending Blindness of Billie Scott. Known for her deeply personal storytelling and distinctive art style, she’s quickly become one of the most exciting voices in comics today.
Zoe Thorogood is a UK-based comic artist and writer who made an unforgettable debut in 2020 with The Impending Blindness of Billie Scott, a graphic novel she both wrote and illustrated. Since then, she’s gone on to work on acclaimed titles such as Joe Hill’s RAIN, HAHA, and her autobiographical breakthrough It’s Lonely at the Centre of the Earth, which earned her multiple nominations and industry awards. She continues to push creative boundaries with her recent projects, including HACK/SLASH: BACK TO SCHOOL and LIFE IS STRANGE: FORGET-ME-NOT. Whether she’s writing original stories or illustrating iconic series, Zoe brings a sharp voice and visual style that’s all her own.
